Grading Policy    

    Grades will consist of homework, in-class work, quizzes, tests, and other various assessments and assignments.  Homework, in-class work, and other assessments will be entered into the grade book once, quizzes will be entered twice, and tests will be entered three times.  Various assessments and assignments may be entered differently and information will be given to the students as the they are given. 

    Homework and in-class work below 80% can be redone for extra credit.  Students will need to check for extra credit on tests and quizzes below 80%.  Work that is turned in late may not be redone for extra credit. 

    Work that is turned in late (one day and over) will have 10% taken off the final grade. 

   Students who have late work may be requested to attend TASS. 

    Students may check their grades at any time and are encouraged to do so!

   St. John's uses the following grading scale:

   99-100    A+                96-98    A                             94-95    A-         

   92-93      B+                89-91    B                              86-88    B-

   84-85     C+                 80-83    C                              77-79    C-

   75-76     D+                 72-74    D                              70-71     D-

     0-69       F

One final note...all grades are earned, not given!
