THE SCRIP PROGRAM IS THE EASIEST WAY TO
EARN FREE MONEY FOR ST. JOHN’S and OFFSET TUITION COSTS
With the rising cost of tuition and the much-needed
renovations of the school and church, wouldn’t it be nice to
have a way to offset some of the cost?
There is!!! Our
Scrip Program can help you be able to earn credit toward
tuition at St. John's and Religious Education classes and
assist in the financial health of our parish without adding an
additional burden of financial obligation.
What
is Scrip?
Scrip are certificates that are accepted as
cash at various vendors. The
certificates are purchased through the St. John’s
Scrip office and are redeemed by our families at area grocery
stores, gas stations, restaurants and retail locations.
How
Do I use Scrip?
Scrip is as easy as 1-2-3!!!
1.
You
order your certificates from St. John’s Scrip office
2.
You
write your check or pay cash (you earn your credit at time of
purchase)
3.
Redeem
gift certificates at the vendor just like cash
YOU
JUST MADE MONEY!!!!!!
Example:
You spend $25 each week at Speedway Gas
Station, $100 at Kroger Grocery Store, $20 in McDonald’s
fast food:
Speedway at 5% = $1.25 profit each week totaling $65
after 52 weeks
Kroger at 5% = $5.00 profit each week totaling $260
after 52 weeks
McDonald’s at 5% = $1.00 profit each week totaling
$52 after 52 weeks
Total
Profit for 1 year = $377.00 of which 75% of the profit
($282.75) goes back to you in tuition/religious education
credit!
How do I get started?
Getting started is easy.
Stop in and fill out an order form or send one to
school with your child. Your certificates will be sent back to you with your child or
you may stop in and pick them up.
