I am currently in my 7th year teaching at St. John's, and I teach 7th and 8th grade language arts. Prior to beginning my teaching profession, I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Reading Minor. I also have a language arts and social studies endorsement for Junior High.  I strongly believe that my first priority as a teacher is to create an atmosphere in my classroom that is conducive to helping every student achieve success. I enjoy playing and being a spectator for just about any sport. I also love spending time with my family and husband.
