WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!!!
Watch for your children to bring home checked work every day. These papers will help you see the progress your child is making and help you identify areas of concern. It will also give you a quick view of activities being completed in class.
REMEMBER, your children have three things to work on every evening for homework:
1) Spelling Word Lists
2) 15 to 20 minutes of reading. Use readers, leveled readers, weekly paper stories, library books, etc.
3) Addition and Subtraction math facts. We test 2 or 3 times a week. Goal -- 30 correct per minute.
If you have any questions or concerns about this process, feel free to contact me at school.
