Janice L. Comito - Principal

Mrs. Comito taught at St. John's School for twenty years. She began as a Kindergarten teacher for morning sessions in 1981. Mrs. Comito also taught the first alternate all-day Kindergarten program, started the Pre-K 4 program, and taught third grade. Mrs. Comito began the preschool program at St. John's in 1983. Mrs. Comito moved into the principal's position in 2001.

Mrs. Comito graduated from Ball State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Comito received her Master's Degree in Administration from Indiana University Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Comito and her husband, Ron, have been members of St. John's Church for over 28 years. Mrs. Comito's three children all graduated from St. John's School. Her children are now adults.  She has always loved children and enjoys working with them. Mrs. Comito's philosophy is that every child is a gift from God to be nurtured and loved. Catholic education is a way to bring home, school, and community together in a Christ-centered environment.
